Book for Alfresco Arias Event in CH James Courtyard

Do you appreciate the fine arts? Do you enjoy opera? CH James is a stylish venue in Station St Fairfield and is the perfect venue for an Alfresco Arias event on Sunday April 15th.

With the backdrop of the heritage St Paul's church next door, it's a compelling vibe. Mezzo soprano, Genevieve Dickson and pianist Jane Matheson will wow you with flamboyant arias in the St Pauls Courtyard, CH James. The program will include music from Mozart and Rossini to Bizet and Puccini. Genevieve Dickson has performed roles with Citi Opera, Lyric Opera and Melbourne Opera and sung with Opera Scholars Australia at Opera in the Alps and Opera in the Market, which inspired the formation of OPERAtion Quartet. As a Scholar, she participated in Master Classes with Yvonne Kenny and Helena Dix and has been studying with Sally-Anne Russell for three years. She and Jane have been working together for most of this time.

Jane Matheson is a versatile pianist who achieved her A.Mus.A when she was just 15 years old. She went on to graduate from Melbourne University with a B.Mus/B.A and further studied at the Opera Studio Melbourne and Centre of Opera Studies in Italy.

At Melbourne's Crown Casino and on Norwegian cruise line's, Jane performed as a cocktail pianist and is now the repetiteur and orchestral pianist for Lyric Opera, Citi Opera and plays for the Opera Australia Schools touring company.

Genevieve and Jane have performed together on many occasions and have become a dynamic team on stage.
